Kyoichiro is sitting alone when he`s approached by Tatebayashi. Tatebayashi doesn`t arrest him, but explains to him about how the military is divided on the use of dead soul soldiers. He asks Kyoichiro what it is that he wants to do, and what actions he thinks will best serve their country, driving Kyoichiro deeper into thought.
