Okuda is a television director and things just don`t seem to go well for him at work. Even his own son Yousuke would rather watch videos on the internet than watch the programs he made. Okuda spends every day depressed, shoulders slumped. Ratman brings him material that would make a good story. Okuda goes with Ratman deep into the mountains where Ama-no-jaku, a youkai who loves misfortune, appears before them. He scares Okuda, telling him to film people`s happiness being broken and broadcast it as a program. Okuda doesn`t like doing it, but the show gets high ratings and even his indifferent son Yousuke gets interested in it. His joy is brief as Kitaro appears before Okuda and the others and...!?
