Poor-man Isamu is a comedian with zero popularity. When he gets up on stage to do his material, it never gets any laughs, and his slump drags on. One day, on his way home, he hears a voice that seems to be calling him. He heads to the riverbank where he finds the youkai Sara-kozou happily singing and washing plates. He watches, unnoticed, and decides to make what he sees into a gag for his act. And so, by singing the youkai`s song and dancing, Isamu starts to become popular. Sara-kozou is enraged when he realizes his song has been stolen. Kitaro goes to warn Isamu to stop singing the song, but...
