The boy is called Triton. He was raised by an old fisherman Ippei, who had found the infant Triton on the beach. It is rumored that Triton is a "merman" because of his green hair. One day, a dolphin appears and tells Triton the secret of his birth. Then the sea monster Saramandra attacks the fishing village. It seems to be looking for Triton.
