Jil and his gang go to the Shrine of Emery, and find that their former comrade Melt has become a millionaire, after his success at managing a ski resort. Now being a wealthy man, Melt puts his connections with the army above his friendship with old party-mates and hands over Jil, Ki, and the gang to Uragon, and the gang is subsequently incarcerated. Meanwhile, the Ropers who are being exploited by Melt are planning an escape in the backyard of the resort. An avalanche occurs, and the escape of the Ropers begins...
