It pretty much leans on every trope of the isekai power fantasy + harem genre. But it does it so shamelessly that it ends up being kind of good. The MC accepts both that he has become OP and continues to work on increasing his power towards the goal of going home. He gets betrayed, but then doesn't fall down the 'woe is me, I hate everyone and everything' path, but at the same time doesn't brush it off and go back to being happy-go-lucky. Becomes the ultimate edge-lord, but once again, they lean into it so hard that it is almost a parody but not quite and you just have to kind of accept it.
I think someone else summed it up, it's trash, but its the trash you just can't make yourself throw out.
Actual biggest gripe is the CG is jarring in context and kind of sucks even if it was standalone
