I saw this anime recommendation on TikTok and I don't regret watching it. The plot isn't gonna be for everyone, it takes a dark turn and not everyone is into that. It includes very serious topics that might not sit well with some people, that being said this is definitely not meant to be for a younger audience. Each character has their own problem, ranging from identity issues to abusive parents, even extreme helicopter parents. The ending leaves on an extreme cliffhanger that might seem to extreme to watchers but leaves room for the imagination. Honestly, I personally love the diversity in real-world issues that the anime incorporates and how well they write it off. I do feel like if you are into angst and slice of life with real world elements thrown in, then you will enjoy Star Align.
