The anime made me cry many times within the first 6 episodes that I had to take a break from watching the anime. It was so heartbreaking but healed me as the anime would break me. The portrayal of regets and being a parent is captured magnificantly. I just adored the bond between the tanoku and the MC. It was a masterpiece as it left me in tears as the show ended.
