"Armed Librarians: The Book of Bantorra" disappointed me. It was the rare case for me when I regret watching. Others may like it.

The series features interesting concepts, adding unique mechanics to the setting. Supernatural powers and ambitions create a complex web of relationship between characters. The most recurring themes are memory and identity manipulation. The plot requires to engage one's mind and pay attention. It's fun to untangle.

My problem is that the conclusion, the true meaning behind everything, was unsatisfying. For example, most mysteries in this series are resolved by introducing a concept or character, that didn't exist prior and was never foreshadowed.

I have mixed impressions of character designs and spectacle, mostly negative.

If you really liked the premise summarized on the web page for the series, if you are desperate for supernatural mystery, maybe try it.
