"Xam'd of Lost Memories" ("Bounen no Xamdou") looks especially beautiful and romantic. It deserves to be a classic. Eagerly recommend.

The world this show is set in feels appealing. It's fantastical, featuring technology akin to magic. The mechanism for the superpowers stood out to me as inventive. It's fun to explore how this world works.

Despite living in a magical world, the mundane lives and problems of the characters are immediately relatable.

It features war and combat, but it's mostly just background for the journey of characters. There is tragedy to the story, but it's not too explicit.

Personally I didn't like the resolution to some of the characters. Overall there is still a satisfying ending.

Unlike most anime shows, I readily recommend "Bounen no Xamdou" to almost everyone, even those who watch little to no anime, and especially recommend it to those who like fantasy.
