One of the best animes i've ever watched. It portrays the setting in history very well. It has great character development and absoluletly amazing characters, I think anyone who wants to watch a great anime should watch this. Other than the characters, the art and sound design is amazing, pairing this with the ties it has to actual history make it a spectular work of art. If you've watched the anime, make sure to read the manga since it has even more amazing art.

Thorfinn and Askeladd were one of my favorite characters. Askeladd in particular was an amazing character with many flaws but he was somewhat relatable. He was smart and calculated.
