The show is excellent and for my first time watching it, i very much enjoyed it. However there was one issue i had. A friend who reccomended this show to me told me the end of each episode has a different rendition of Fly Me to the Moon. However when i watched this wasnt the case. That is because this isnt the orignal English dub from ADV, this is the 2019 netflix re-dub. There are apparently a few changes from the original that lightly impact the story as well as the music. Apparently Shinji often listens to classical music on his music player but here its gone. I feel like this takes a certain flavor away, not just from the show but from his character as well. Also Asuka comes off as much more aggressive and mean in the netflix version. She wasnt all sunshine and rainbows before, but her comments in the original Eng dub come off as a challenge for Shinji to man up, wheras here it comes off as her genuinely trying to stomp him down. Still, the voice acting is fantastic and the story is pretty much unchanged save for a few small points. its not a bad dub to watch at all.
