"When she was there."
Anna Sasaki suffers from asthma attacks, quiet, unsocialable, and distanced from others. Self pity, hate, Anna dislikes her own self, wishing to be a figure of normality. I want to be like you. Exactly like you, a normal person.
When Marnie was there, "Omoide no Marnie" is about a story of self-discovery and frendship, and what these qualities have to be punctuated.
Please watch this short film (1 hour and 42 minutes!) by studio Ghibli, a meaningful story that made me drop a few tears! Studio Ghibli has made other memorable movies that have been really interesting like "My Neighbor Totoro," or "Spirited Away," so I definetly recommend this movie.
There is a bond between Anna and Marnie. Rowing all over to the marsh house each day, the watcher can't just help but think of many results of this, causing you to feel so many emotions, and it's wonderful of that. Each and every day, of this time, studio Ghibli creates a wonderful story in such a short time.
Please watch this! It's amazing, and the art, storyline, voice acting, is amazing! This is the original, japanese version. There's an english version with the link here: https://yugenanime.tv/anime/14588/when-marnie-was-there/
