REALLY good for a music anime. The art and character design is beautiful, the music competition is blended in with an urban sci-fi setting, which might seem silly at first but it's really in depth and the characters are super rich. The storyline can get super heavy and shocking (which is a POSITIVE for me, most music animes aren't that ambitious), but it's balanced really well with the lighter fan-service episodes and I would just all around recommend~!
