It was extremely episodic and what little plot/story there is was rushed through. (I can't say I care much for the "digimon can only do special attacks if their human partner says it" gimmick, either. Almost ranks right up there with Transformers Actionmasters. Almost.)

Unless you're a die-hard fan or a fanfic writer taking up a fix-it challenge, I recommend skipping this.
