I haven't considered watching it before but I guess I was very wrong. I thought that the plot will turn out mid and I was scared of shitty typical romance. It turns out I was really stupid. This show has one of the most amazing protagonists I've ever saw. Maomao's personality is just so interesting that every episode becomes more and more fun as she developes. The story itself is very intriguing and I love how there is a lot of plot twists with poisons and deeper human emotions. I like how the anime shows us how is it like to live in that hierarhic closed society. It really exceeded my expectations A LOT
Also the romance between Maomao and Jinshi isn't as bad as I thought at all. In fact the develompent in their relationship is quite funny and cute!

If you are also unsure If its worth giving a shot like me before, don't hesitate. Trust me, If you like mysteries combined with poisons and conspiracies and also something entertaining but not too tiring like typical action animes you're gonna love this!

Also the opening is a total fire🔥🔥
