Finally an anime that is really worth the time to watch it all (both series) more that twice times.

This is a slice of simple real life : no special powers, no time-shifting travels, NO to anything that is not just the ordinary normal life of young people that have to live their life everyday in this world with its hardness.

This anime is quite an example to the difficulties you can have in your life on a realistic point of view, showing the Will of a young guy that wants to go on with life improvimg himself and trying to become more skilled in the only one this that he can do good : Shogi Professional Play.

It is a simple and tender light novel that has a lot of family drama in it and matching Shogi play.

The drawing style is quite unique too, beautiful and clean.

A MUST watch.
