What i mean to say is this anime, is definitely not an anime that a lot of people will enjoy since it does not have any ecchi, the animation is not top tier, the comedy is not phenomenal and etc. But, and this is a massive "but", the story, the raw themes and the pure suspense this anime produces are so good that those who are fine with the issues stated above will absolutely adore. Again, this anime is not for your typical shounen/rom-com lovers, its a seinin, there is no power system, no superior character and etc, it is just a realistic phycological show. This show is about a old man with a wife and daughter living his normal life until he decides to check on his daughter one day and notices she is being abused and such. Things pick up from there, and I won't say why because that is a massive spoiler but now this man is on the run. Themes such as love, betryal, trickery and anything else related to human instinct to live and survive are very much present in this show. The protagonist has nothing going for him, he is just a normal man, so again I repeat, NO POWERS, not even a bit enhanced strength or intellect, he is just your normal guy. But he wants to live and have a happy and safe family. That is all this show is about and man, the suspense thiss anime produces with every episode is just mind blowing. If you like monster or 20th century boys, this anime is a must, it isn't as good as them but it for sure will be to your liking. Anyway, I'd give this anime a 7.8/10 cause i personally love these types of seinin but sometimes the side characters are dumb af in this show like policemen in the end. Also there might be a season 2 for this (hopefully) since like while it didn't end in a cliff hanger per say but like, well, you'll understand what I mean when you see it. That's all, peace.
